Rival Karma is a 4 piece rock band based in Henry, Illinois. The band, formed in 2001 by drummer, Eric Hamm and guitarist, Mark Nekola, plays a wide assortment of music spanning nearly six decades and a variety of styles. The band is constantly learning the latest hits as they are released as well as working on their own original music.
Rounding out the rest of the band is Paul Weber on vocals and rhythm guitar and Matt Dunshee on bass guitar. Together the band has a combined total of about a lifetime of experience. All four members also sing adding rich harmonies to the songs that they cover.
Rival Karma provides four to five hours of energetic music coupled with state of the art sound and lighting production. The band also provides the music in between sets to keep the crowd going.
The bands popularity continues to grow with the launching of www.RivalKarma.com, the bands official website, in March of 2002. The site averages over 400 hits a month. It includes the bands schedule, including directions to venues, the bands current play list, a guest book, and pictures from past shows.
